Holiday Gift Guide - Infant (0-12m)

You asked, and I delivered!

Go check out my Holiday Gift Guide - Toddler Edition Blog post if you haven’t yet!

What are the best toys and gifts for infants?

In my Toddler Gift Guide, I talked about the importance of open-ended toys. An open ended toy is one that can be used in many different ways. Think, animals, blocks, manipulatives, etc.

I think the same goes for the little babies too! Although babies cannot manipulate toys as well as toddlers can, there are still many opportunities to incorporate sensory touch and play with the young ones.

I think some other amazing gifts for families don’t even involve toys some of the time! I will list some of those handy and cozy items below as well. Links are on photos and on underlined text!

  1. Easy Grasp Rattle Ball (3+ months)

This ball makes it easy for babies as young as 3 or 4 months able to start using and practicing their grasp on objects!

This ball rattles and rolls and will be fun for any infant to play with through their first year and beyond.

2. Zoli Bunny Teethers (0-9 months)

These handy teethers were Baylor’s absolute favorite!

I love how easy they are for little ones to hold and how they aren’t long enough for baby to gag themselves. They come in a pack of 2 for 15 dollars. 10/10!

3. Mushie Stacking Cups (3+ months)

Another on of Baylor’s favorites early on!

These trendy, gender neutral stacking cups are the perfect gift! They look beautiful in a nursery and are easy for your little one to grab and stack.

I honestly loved to play with these myself! Anything by this brand is absolutely amazing!

4. COZYS BRAND ANYTHING (all ages)

I am sorry but if you haven’t heard of cozys yet, where you been?

They are local to AZ but ship all around the US. They have frequent sales and holiday options on their site too! They sell THE SOFTEST swaddles, lovies, blankets (big and small, i asked for one this year), kids and adult PJ sets, and so much more. They use the best material that stays great quality no matter how many washes! We love this small business!

5. Etsy Name Puzzle / Busy Board (all ages)

I would also be surprised if you hadn’t seen the custom name puzzles floating around the internet yet, but that’s what I am here for!

Baylor was gifted a name puzzle last Christmas and we absolutely love it! There are endless choices on Etsy. I love this particular one because it is also a busy board! So neat!

6. Soft Building Blocks (4+ months)

Another open ended toy!

Baylor was gifted this exact set last year for Christmas and he still plays with them at 20 months! They are cute and trendy and also include numbers, pictures and 3d shapes to fit the pieces together while stacking.

We love the soft blocks that don’t make a ton of noise when they topple and are safe for baby’s fingers. Genius!

Hopefully these 6 items are helpful for you if you are buying for an infant this holiday season! Let me know your favorite items from 2021 that you would gift to a baby. Pass this post on to someone who you know if buying for babies this year!

XOXO
